By this time, I’m sure you have tried the two (2) refreshing and mouthwatering Starbucks Frappuccino Blended beverages. I have tried them both recently and I would like to share with you my take on the new Starbucks Frappuccino and new food items.
Started on June 12, classified as Asian Frappuccino Blended Beverages because the high-ingredients were sourced from Asia and the beverages were released in Asia only; Starbucks Philippines introduced Hojicha Tea Jelly Frappuccino and Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino!
First, we were served with Hojicha Tea Jelly Frappuccino. Hojicha is a roasted green tea from Japan and it is said to be one of their most enjoyed tea.
With the full bodied and toasty flavor of Hojicha tea combined with Starbucks own Tazo Earl Grey tea-infused jelly, your taste buds will enjoy its one-of-a-kind flavor and bite-enticing earl grey jelly. Retail Price: Tall P155, Grande P165, Venti P175
Honestly, I’m not a fan of Green Tea Frappuccino or any green tea flavored beverages but would you believe that the new Starbucks Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino instantly became my favorite! The juicy whole kernels of Red Azuki beans and the light, refreshing flavor of green tea made this beverage a deliciously rich distinct taste to the palate. Retail Price: Tall P155, Grande P165, Venti P175
My bf usually orders one beverage for the two of us, not because he’s saving but because we usually have common favorites. From the start, we agreed to have different food items every time we eat together. A great example is the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino Blended Beverage which we both love! But it’s always him who consumes more than half of the tumbler. Now, I have reasons to order my own Starbucks drink since his favorite is the Hojicha Tea Jelly Frappuccino and mine is the Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino, we can have both and still share with each other!
New Food Items at Starbucks:
Of course our favorite Frappuccino comes with new food items and are available only for a limited time at Starbucks stores in the Philippines beginning June 12, 2012.

Mom consumed a slice of this cake which seldom happens every time I served her something for dessert.
