Where to Stay in Davao: Park Inn by Radisson

We were in Davao for the celebration of Earth Hour and chose to stay at Park Inn by Radisson. It's a newly opened hotel by renowned Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in partnership with SM Group. The hotel boasts a modern, fresh and vibrant ambiance evident on the its interior and architectural design.

Park Inn by Radisson caters to both local and international travelers, may it be for business or leisure purposes. The advantage of staying in this hotel is the accessibility to major shopping mall, the SM Lanang Premier.

The hotel celebrated its grand launch last Friday, March 22 led by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s President for Asia Pacific Mr. Simon C. Barlow and President of SM Hotel & Conventions Corporation Ms. Elizabeth Sy.



I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the city of Davao. The city government of Davao lead by Mayor Duterte is strict in implementing the laws. It was my first time in Davao and I instantly fell in love with the city. Davao is very clean and not so polluted compared to Manila.

What to do in Davao City 

There's a lot you can do when in Davao City. Enjoy a sumptuous meal from a wide array of savory food. There's seafood dishes to try and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Never miss their marang, mangosteen, pomelo and durian. You can have durian ice cream or durian candy but my favorite is the Blugre Cappuccino and the durian shake. 

I was extremely happy with the lovely scarfs I bought at Aldevinco Shopping Center which I bought for only Php40. It usually retails at Php100-200 here in Manila. 

Aside from food and shopping, sightseeing in Davao must is a must. There are several hotels within the City but husband and I stayed at Park Inn by Radisson, a standard room at the 6th floor facing Samal Island but the other side of the hotel has a view of the SM Lanang Premier. Hubby told me that we must have a separate day to explore Samal island. I'm looking forward to visiting that place in the future.

colors. We stayed in a room fully-equipped with an LCD Television, a mini bar, in-room tea & coffee maker, hair dryer and a working station. The standard bathroom has clean and soft towels and complete toiletries including a refillable bottle of Dove shower Cream & shampoo. 

Designed for the global Gen Y, the hotel is the first “next generation” mid-scale Park Inn by Radisson brand established in Asia Pacific. Each room is very colorful and happy.

RBG (Restaurant, Bar & Grill) at Park Inn by Radisson

We were delighted at the hotel’s RBG (Restaurant, Bar & Grill) serving sumptuous dishes from charcoal-grilled meats and fish. Not to mention locally-inspired specialties and classic dishes satisfying every palate’s desire. We personally had a wonderful breakfast! They were open for all-day private dining as well. 



Of course, husband and I would not want to miss hotel's Lifestyle hubs such as the swimming pool, gym and pool bar for more leisure inside the hotel.
