Revisiting Sagada after 12 Years + Pre-Birthday Giveaway!

About 12 years ago I went on a month-long community immersion in Nueva Vizcaya with a side trip to Sagada Mountain Province. I never thought I would visit the mystical province once more until I was invited few weeks ago for an organic agriculture familiarization tour (via #ati #pinoyeextension).

As I packed my things and get ready for the trip, I was reminded of the wonderful view of  the Rices Terraces. The cold wind that blew my face, the handicrafts I bought years ago. Certainly, it was a memorable experience.

Traveling Light

I prepared two sets of clothes per day and will bring extra shirts. We were reminded that the weather is cold and there were frequent rains in Sagada so I'll bring two jackets and pashmina. This familiarization tour will highlight healthy living, fresh organic food and spending most of our time with the nature.

Included in my travel kit are set of toiletries. I actually prepared two sets just in case husband and I won't be in one room - one for my husband J and for me. An insect repellent should always be in your travel kit, specially if kids are joining you.

My husband J and I were supposed to leave earlier around 1pm unfortunately there were few more things to accomplish. We will be leaving this afternoon and hopefully arrive in La Trinidad by 12 midnight. Our itinerary includes staying visiting Organic Farms in Mountain Province and La Trinidad, Benguet. We'll be going to Sagada by Friday. I don't know yet what will be our activities, but I'm sure it will be a long-weekend of fun, adventure and healthy-living.
