The moment my husband showed me the house, I was excited to move in, arrange our furniture and decorate our living room.
We painted the wall with a classic ivory color except for that eye catching apple green on the shelves located under the stairs.
Basket of candies, chocolates and cookies
my mini wine cabinet
my Starbucks Tumbler collection & the hundred dollars tea cup from Lantau Island.
These photos are all posted on my instagram, hope you'll follow my journey www.instagram.com/LivingMarjorney
We were fortunate to have hardworking men from Batangas to paint our house. While fixing the interior, slowly we moved our things from the condo to the apartment. We rented a small truck, the Man with a Van was very courteous and helpful, they were careful in bringing down the small furniture.
I wanted to put wallpaper on our room and husband lovingly said yes. Thanks to our ninang Anita for the wallpapers! We choose the design, we had two - it's white with silver lining and a light floral design. The floor was polished too.
On April 15, about two months after the wedding we moved to our new home and it was in May that we had a simple Christian Housewarming ceremony.
Max's Fried Chicken, Pancit + Max's Corner Bakery Ensaymada on our Christian Houseblessing Ceremony
Yes, it's Max's Fried Chicken! It's been a while since my last visit in their restaurant, actually it wasn't too long though because we had few dishes from Max's Restaurant on our Christian housewarming ceremony sometime in May of this year.
I am really thankful that our food was delivered on time. I did not prepared any other dish as I wanted to feel relaxed yet excited to welcome our visitors.
The ceremony and prayers was led by our friend, Jonel's best-man, Pastor Sebs Yu. They also maintain a blog called maximizing marriage which helps couples prepare for a God-glorifying marriage.
Our blogger friend Jenny arrived and gave us this gift! Thanks Jenny for taking time to join our simple housewarming ceremony.
Our family and friends... our guests...
Even the kids had a good time! :)
More than thirty guests including our friend Jenny enjoyed tasty Max's Fried Chicken with pancit canton and bihon, a glass of cold Pepsi and ensaymada from Max's Corner Bakery.
It was a simple and intimate gathering. Thank you to our family and friends for giving time to join us.
