Revisiting Spiral: 21 Dining Ateliers and Spiral 2 Go!

This year alone, I visited Spiral thrice and each visit I always find something to love, added on 'my favorite dish' list and discover new flavors.

We stayed in Sofitel's Club Millesime after the wedding ceremony and had our first breakfast as husband and wife in Spiral. The second was sometime in June celebrating our fourth month wedding anniversary. Then, the most recent was about two or three weeks ago, exactly two days before our 8th month wedding anniversary.

Paseo Uno was my favorite before Spiral. Others find the latter too expensive for lunch or dinner. Well, yes simply because the experience and the food they serve is worth the money you paid for.

Spiral has 21 dining Ateliers:  

L’Écailler, Sushi Sashimi, Salad and Appetizer, L’Epicerie, Wood fired Oven,  Churrasco, North Indian, Asian Noodles, Peking Duck Oven, Hot Japanese, French Stove, Rotisserie, Steam Baskets, Chinese Wok, Thai, KoreanFilipino, La Boulangerie, La Patisserie, Chocolaterie and Creamery

From 21 ateliers, I keep coming back at the La Patisserie, Chocolaterie and Creamery. The Asian noodles and steam baskets sections are also our favorite spots. While the L’Epicerie remains to be an interesting and magnificent section, why not? when you see almost all kinds of cheese in the world.

Last June, I already noticed the Spiral 2 Go section. It's a new concept where customers can bring home the food they loved. Please take note that items are being sold separately.

I scan items for grab. If you love cooking you'll surely find one or two to add in your kitchen cabinet. I found Cucumber Pickles and Filipino Homemade Products.

Shake and Go Salad

Not really my obsession until I tried their Japanese salad dressing. It was really good, not the usual Japanese salad in a bottle that you can buy in the supermarket. Even my husband was surprised to see a foodless plate of salad in front of me. The greens were fresh and ingredients were simply overwhelming. I added wall nuts and went to L'Epicerie, the cheese room and added my choice of cheese.

L'Epicerie refers to Spiral's "cheese room". It's one of the main attractions in Sofitel. It's like a mini grocery with lots of cheeses and cold cuts.

At this section you'll get Asian hand tossed noodles with your choice of sauce, broth and ingredients like vegetables. 

Jonel always look for the Chinese delicacies and there's no problem since Spiral has a lot!

I never let the afternoon passed by without trying Spiral's special adobo, kare-kare and other Filipino vegetable dishes. 

La Boulangerie

Like I said earlier, La Boulangerie is one of my favorite ateliers. They served warm breads, freshly baked baguettes, pain au chocolat and croissants. 

The waiter usually serves you this basket of warm and freshly baked bread with two types of spreads. 

La Patisserie

Moving on, husband and I always go at La Patisserie and Chocolaterie atelier to wipe out the flavors of the food we ate. Going back in between meals for more dessert, we see to it we tried almost all their ice cream and sorbet flavors, cakes and chocolate especially the truffles.

Chocolaterie and Creamery

On our recent trip, we got excited to see piles of chest box full of sweet treats. I can't wait to finish the tour so I grabbed a piece of chocolate in it. Oh my goodness! 

Of course, you should not miss a special section for this season, you must see their pretty Xmas chocolate lollipops and other Christmas goodies at the Chocolaterie and Creamery atelier. 

These Santa Chocolate bars are sold from P400 (small) to a few thousands while the smiley and bear chocolate lollipops at Php75. 

You can buy the chocolates per piece or in a box.

I can eat a lot but not all at the same time.  

A pretty serving of freshly green salad, I personally made. You can also ask the chef to prepare salad for you. 

my next plate consists of Thai, Filipino and Chinese cuisine all slurped down with a glass of fruity break Blueberry with Pineapple, Spiral's beverage of the day.

because we love Chinese delicacies - from steam basket, pecking duck and crispy pork belly.

There's always room for another round of ice cream! I think we had four cups of different flavors, each cup has two scoops (1 ice cream + 1 sorbet). 

By the way, I know it's Christmas season and you're definitely craving for puto bumbong and bibingka, don't worry Spiral has a lot of Pinoy delicacies from colorful sapin-sapin to bibingka.
