We celebrated our first year in Bohol, one of the affected areas by the recent earthquake and super typhoon Yolanda. We took early morning flight en route Tagbilaran on Monday, February 10, exactly our wedding anniversary date. Few days before the trip, we're both busy so I think we deserve "you and me time".
Love Language: Gifts |
I almost lost my balance going to our bedroom with these boxes. When I saw the first box, I knew he has surprises like he always do. Remember the time he hid inside the closet?
Each gift has a sign, "I" then "<3" and the third gift has a "U" (I love You!)
He's fond of giving gifts. Have you heard of "love language"? There are five (5) ways to express your love: gifts, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, and physical touch. My husband expresses love through gifts, I'm more on physical touch though. So more often, I don't have gift for him during special occasions except on Christmas and on his birthday. This time though, something not really expensive because he's a simple guy who enjoys simple things. It's a three pairs of cheap, unbranded sunnies.

First Time in Bohol!
Finally, we arrived in Bohol. We got a tour package at JCAC which I read from a fellow blogger's website. It was an on-the-spot booking. lol! In Tagbilaran, Jonel called the travel agency and discussed the terms right there and then. In less than thirty minutes, our driver and tourist guide arrived and we started the country side tour by 9:30 am. At 8pm, we arrived at Cherry's Home hotel located at Alona complex. The next day, we moved to Panglao where we stayed for the next two days at Whites and Greens Beach Resort, a very nice and quite place in Panglao.
