Air Asia Philippines, Palawan Tourism Council and Palawan Government will work together to meet the goals of the
Palawan Action Plan and Campaign. Moreover, Air Asia Philippines will continue to offer amazingly low-low fares; affordable rates for its 3x/daily flights between Manila and Puerto Princesa. A travel fair in Eastwood this summer is expected with special rates going to Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
I personally believe that the campaign for Palawan as the World's Best Island will be of great success. I've been to
Honda Bay in 2013 and discovered this slice of paradise. It's stunningly beautiful and there's so much you can do. Governor Alvarez shared with us that
Honda Bay Island is the "Best Island Beach for Swimming and Snorkeling" while
El Nido is becoming The
"Most Beautiful Island"

To kick off this campaign, Air Asia and PTC held a four-day familiarization tour. Started with an overnight stay in hotels and beach resorts in Puerto Princesa,
Seats For Two stayed in a newly opened
Blue Palawan located at BM Road, city proper of Puerto Princesa.
The next day, our team braved five hours road trip via
Lexus Shuttle heading El Nido. A scrumptious buffet lunch awaits us at
Astoria Palawan while enjoying the landscape of their beautiful swimming pool area. At El Nido, we were warmly welcome by
El Nido Municipal Mayor Edna Gacot-Lim and Tourism Officer Arvin Acosta.

There's a lot you can do while you stay in El Nido, Palawan. The 250 million years old limestone are majestic, the islands and beaches charming, the city proper has laid-back atmosphere. Most of all the people were friendly and cheerful. Four-days is not enough to explore El Nido. You can join us in this campaign by posting your photos and including hashtags
#WorldsBestIsland. For those who haven't been to Palawan, come and visit the paradise.
Air Asia Philippines offers daily flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa, 3x/day at very affordable rates.
Stay tuned for more of our Palawan and El Nido adventures and discover why it is well-deserved to be called the World's Best Island.
