On our way going to Batangas, we passed thru the Sky Ranch Tagaytay. Although, we've been at Sky Ranch,Tagaytay once last December, my daughter said "wow. Mama, I wish I could go back there again!".
It was a wish granted for her. Last Friday, Bianca, Euki and I went to Sky Ranch Tagaytay. The five-hectare amusement park managed by SM Prime Holdings, Inc is situated besides Taal Vista Hotel, I consider a family summer and yuletide seasons destination south of Metro Manila.
It was an one hour and forty minutes travel from SM MOA to Sky Ranch Tagaytay. The weather was good when we arrived there. Even we've been there once, my kids are still excited to take the rides. Just before we left SM MOA complex, my kids received bag of snacks, so we have something to eat on our way to Sky Ranch.
Downtown Pizza and Red Engine Diner
We had our first lunch (yeah, because there's second lunch) at the Downtown Pizza and Red Engine Diner. From burgers, salad, pasta, pizza.... they all serve in American diner setting. I must say that I really like their al dente Spanish Sardines Pasta, as well as the salad that is fresh when served mainly because Tagaytay is known to be a place where freshly harvest vegetables and fruits can be found. Kids favorite was the Chicken, a little fetching as well.

MESA
I said, I will only take photos on our second lunch tour at MESA because my kids wanted to take a ride, but I was wrong and even ask for an extra rice please, lol. When they served my favorite Beef Kare-Kare, I gave in to my cravings. My first impression of the restaurant, very interesting and engaging. For me, its a perfect dining place for balikbayan Kapamilya (family member) who is craving for Filipino dish with a twist. They offer a full menu, including appetizers, soups, tasty entrees and grilled items that highlight choice meat and fresh seafood.

They served us the Package 1 which includes Tinapa Roll wrapped in Lettuce, Crispy boneless Tilapia with 4 sauces, Swahe on the RockBoneless Patatim / Crispy Boneless Pata, Pinatayong Manok, Kare Kare Beef, Laing 2 ways and Bagoong Fried Rice.

After we had our sumptuous lunch, it was a time for us to enjoy the rides. But of course, my first concern is for my kids safety, so I only consider kiddie rides like Red Baron, Wonder Flight, Bubble-O-Fun, Express Train and our favorite double decker carousel. For adventurous, you can either try Sky Vickings, Flying bus that takes you up and around for a rip-roaring drive, horseback riding and zipline. Kids enjoyed strolling around the park and the views of Taal Volcano as well. One great way that we enjoy the weather was when we ride in a trackless "Thomas train" while roaming around the area. Later on, we had our snack at Krispy Kreme doughnut.
There are lots of restaurants, fast-food chains and food carts in the park, in case you need to refesh your self after having a fun ride, you can get a snack and drink to fill yourself up.
Thank you so much to my sister Marj who's enjoying the cold weather in Baguio City as of this writing, AMPR and SM Prime Holding Inc., indeed such a memorable Summer 2015 for us.
