The Captivating Henann Resort Panglao

For me, the months of June, July and August are the best time to travel in the Philippines. In the past three years, we've traveled a lot during this season and I must say we enjoyed because it's off-peak season so hotel rates are much cheaper and places are less crowded.

We stayed in a private island in Coron called Dimakya where Club Paradise is situated. Same time last year, we were in Puerto Princesa Palawan. We love travelling together but it also delights us traveling with other people. These happened during the months I mentioned earlier. This time, we visited the captivating Henann Resort in Panglao.

Our day started with a wonderful lunch at Rio Verde Floating Restaurant. Then our group headed to Henann Resort Panglao our home in Bohol. From the modern cozy lobby, a majestic pool greeted us. While enjoying the view, a friendly staff offered a glass of mango juice and warm scented towel to freshen up. We've been to several resorts but I must say Henann wowed us with their swimming pools in terms of designed and landscaped. It was awesome!

While waiting to be ushered to our room, hubby started to look around and take photos. I remained standing, feasting my eyes with the beautiful amenities before me. But wait, where's the beach?

There's no direct pool access in our room at the second floor but we had a nice veranda with an overlooking view of their grand swimming pools. It was stunning. I will not go into details about our premiere room but I'm hoping you could spend few more minutes and drop by our couple blog, where we had a full feature (link here). Now, let me take you to the beach.

Henann Resort: Grandest Resort in Panglao

Henann Resort Panglao did not disappoint us. Just when I thought I had the best view of the whole property, we walked and past two more pool and yes, there were more swimming pools just before the beach area. Wow, this is majestic. I felt like a kid moving from one to another pool until we reached the beach front where umbrellas, fine white sand and blue water await us.

Opened on May 2015, Henann Resort is the grandest resort in Panglao at the moment. It's 6.5 hectare property has 400 rooms and 12 executive villas with private plunge pools. They have several premiere rooms with direct pool access. A total of three huge swimming pools. Henann Resort Bohol has the widest and longest beachfront area along Alona beach. We enjoyed buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at Coral Restaurant. Other amenities includes business and Convention center, gym and fitness center. I heard they will be opening Kai Spa and more restaurants this year.
