In Manila, hubby surprised me with the new blog layout for LivingMarjorney.com. We re-launched this five-year-old blog with a new name #WomanInDigital in a simple get-together hosted by our Greenwich Pizza family and attended by some of my regular followers. I couldn't thank you enough for giving your time and effort attending this occasion.
In May of 2015, I went back to Baguio City. It was great to be back at Azalea Residences for the 2nd time.
The rainy season in the Philippines did not stopped us going back to the beach and enjoyed the white sand. In partnership with Air Asia, we traveled to Puerto Princesa, El Nido Palawan for the #WorldsBestIsland campaign. What a wonderful experience to see El Nido for the first time, 2nd time in Puerto Princesa. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of El Nido.
I was hoping we could also visit Coron, even told myself maybe next year or a couple of years from now. But the Lord immediately answered my prayer. Few weeks after our journey in El Nido we received another invitation, this time for Club Paradise in Coron. We had a wonderful husband and wife bonding as if we own the island.
The same month, July when we visited Henann Resort, Bohol's newest and considered the grandest resort today in Panglao. One of the highlights of that trip was the Sandugo Festival. It was my third or fourth time to watch a Philippine festival.
A week after, we went back to my favorite island, Boracay and stayed in another Discovery Leisure property, Discovery Shores Boracay. Just when I thought, our staycation in Club Paradise was the best, Discovery Shores offered a different kind of travel and leisure experience for women who wanted some me-time and couples longing for total relaxation.
Speaking of me-time, it was November when I went for personal leisure and vacation. It was my second time in Cebu but first time to explore the city. Mom and I stayed at Stella Hotel, a small hotel near tourist spots. Then we moved to Waterfront Hotel Lahug. It was our first time as mom and daughter travel bonding outside Manila. It was her first time to ride an airplane and I am very happy for her. We went around the city. Cebu's must-visit destinations including the Cebu Heritage Monument, Cebu Cathedral and Sto Nino de Cebu church. We did some danggit shopping at Taboan market. We dine and ate authentic Cebu dishes including Cebu lechon, the famous otap from Shamrock just to name a few. We also rode habal-habal going atop the mountain to see Leah's temple and Taoist temple.
Hubby and I decided to stay at Intercontinental Manila on December 24-25 just before it bids goodbye after December 31, 2015. It was our first and last #MemoriesAtInterconManila. On the 26th of December, we announced (again, like we did last year) our open house to all our family members, relatives, blogger friends and PRs. It's our annual CHRISTmas party at home. We do it as a way of saying thank you and sharing our blessings to others.
I'm happy we had several family gatherings before the year ended. On December 31, hubby and I spent the New Year's eve at home with home made media noche. We welcome 2016 with prayers and thanksgiving, allowing God to work in our lives.
Have I told you that I first learned creating videos before I became a blogger. I hope you will watch this one, featuring the Highlights of my 2015. Enjoy!
