Contis Mango Bravo Cake Review

I've heard a lot about Contis' Mango Bravo so I decided to have it on Christmas eve. I went to Contis Pastry Shop and Restaurant on December 23. I was surprised with the long queue waiting outside. I waited because I wanted to bring home a box of this popular Mango Bravo. Finally, after an hour and a half of waiting I had my Mango Bravo.

Mango Bravo became a favorite topic among friends, photos are posted on social networks as well. It is not layered with chocolate or vanilla flavored chiffon. This one is layered with meringue-like or it's like a wafer with generous cashew nuts, cream, mango chunks and chocolate mouse. It is covered with white mango cream and a bit splash of chocolate topped with fresh mangoes. One thing that's so unique in this cake is the shape. For me, it's like a Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is tall and round. Aside from the appearance is the taste, layers that so flavorful. It's sweetness is just right. Best served chilled, but I preferred it frozen. This mini cake, served 8-10 slices.

Mango Bravo is now the first on my list of favorite cake!
