Diocesan Shrine of Mary: House of Prayer in Bulacan

I visited the Diocesan Shrine of Mary also known as the House of Prayer in San Vicente, Bulacan just in time for the holy week in the Philippines. Coming from Sta. Maria, it took me an hour to reach the house of prayer by taking the jeepney. I never thought there's a separate museum with so many religious artifacts. Let me take you inside the church and the museum.

Behind the altar is glass window where you can see through is the huge statue of the blessed Mother. The church has a museum and a replica of the Holy Land in the Philippines.

Here's the entrance of Holy Land Replica. Inside this cave are various religious replicas, big and small, mostly life size images. The stairs on the right leads you to the Blessed Sacrament. (Shown below)

Outside the chapel you'll find the Station of the Cross

The house of prayer is a place of pilgrimage. Every first Saturday of the month, devotees gather here for a special healing mass.

How to Get to the Diocesan Shrine of Mary: House of Prayer in Bulacan

Take the North Luzon Express Way and turn right at Bocaue Exit then straight ahead. Before the bridge, make a right turn to San Jose Del Monte and proceed straight ahead. On the left side is a little road that leads to the House of Prayer Mother of Eucharist and Grace, barangay San Vicente, Bulacan. House of Prayer and Museum opens daily from 8am to 5pm.
