I was looking at this cute picture holder and other interesting stuff like picture frames, old books and wall decors while waiting my merienda.I wanted an Ensaymada for merienda that afternoon, I passed by a lot of bakeshops and ended up dining here at Mary Grace. Good thing there are still few available tables that moment. I love her Lemon square, Cheese rolls and their famous Ensaymadas. This time I decided to have an Ensaymada with a twist (Cinnamon Apple). You know how I love cinnamon, I always buy a piece or two of any cinnamon bread every time I see them. In fact, while writing this post I am eating Gradenia Cinnamon Toast which I bought in a grocery store!
Now, here’s my Ensaymada with a Twist! Topped with generous cinnamon sauce and apple bits. It’s so filling that I decided not to have an additional cheese roll anymore. The ensaymada is soft and moist, I can still recognize the cheese on it. Yummy!
I had Traditional Tsokolate that perfectly matched my Ensaymada. It looks the same with the hot chocolate I make at home but this is more rich and smooth. Mary Grace has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that I always look for when dining in a restaurant. Those love letters from satisfied customers were kept underneath the glass-covered tables. Those are nice to read while waiting your food to be served.
How about you, when was the last time you had Mary Grace Ensaymada? :)
