After a laughing trip with Ms. Eugene Domingo about a week ago, here’s another intimate Bloggers’ date with the couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
Held at Napa Grill and Bar along Tomas Morato, a must-try by American Italian restaurant.
“My Househusband: Ikaw Na!” stars real life husband and wife Judy Ann and Ryan, the film speaks volumes of success in so many aspects already. Joining the fray is undisputed comedy actress Eugene Domingo. All three premiere talents join outstanding chemistry with director par excellence Jose Javier Reyes.
Ryan and Judy Ann’s roles become even more realistic in their hands since they can relate to their characters in many aspects. Like married couple Mia and Rod, the lead characters in the movie, Judy Ann and Ryan knows exactly what it’s like to raise kids, to balance career and family life, to stay best friends with your significant other even after tying the knot, and to be clear on priorities and keep sense of humor especially through thin.
Bloggers throw questions related to the movie like “What makes this film different from past movies? What people will learn from the movie” Judy Ann and Ryan said that this film reflects real life scenarios of some couples especially those who are struggling when the husband needs to stay at home and care for the kids while the wife earns for the family. Judy Ann remembers a scene when Rod went to her office asking for money – a scene movie goers may not forget, too.
I’m excited to watch it! Let’s support the Philippine Movie Industry, watch the Metro Manila Film Festival entries this coming December 25.
“My Househusband: Ikaw Na!” is OctoArts Films’ entry to the 2011 MMFF. It opens on Christmas Day.
