Mariwasa Siam Ceramics, Inc. is one of the leading tile manufacturing in the Philippines for over forty years and continues to innovate and strengthen the local tile standard in the country.
At home, we’re using unbranded tiles, still intact but I noticed scratches caused by frequent scrubbing and cleaning. At the event, Mariwasa presented their latest innovation and featured products.
When we talk about high-definition we usually think of gadgets like television, laptops and computers. I was surprised when Mariwasa presented their latest innovations, one of which is the safety, scratch-free and high-definition tiles that has high resistance to scratch – making them suitable for medium to high traffic areas.
To suit the market’s discriminating taste in terms of aesthetics, high-definition tiles will be introduced, with sharper and more vivid designs.
“We try to make sure that we serve the demands of our market in full capacity, whether aesthetically or industrially” says Mariwasa President, Anukul Kongrit
Another one is the tile that make use of anti-slip technology. It reduces the risk of accidents and falls. Safety tiles are also easy to clean.
Mariwasa is known to serve the demands of different market segments. The company also distributes the leading ceramic tile brand in Thailand, Cotto, and the Philippines. Cotto’s advanced Touchable 3D Digital Printing Technology makes every design detail visible with its vivid surface texture.
“Instead of increasing the prices of products, Mariwasa will focus on developing product innovations, thereby giving more benefits to our consumers. We will offer these innovations without any additional cost. We want to provide our consumers with more value for their money,” says Kongrit
Plans for the year include the launching of safety and scratch-free tiles in the market, and a new design series to provide customers with more selections in patterns, color, and texture for the home and construction.
Mariwasa is the first ceramic tile company to be granted the license to use the environment seal of Green Choice Philippines, the national eco-labeling program in the country.
