Chic atmosphere, stylish with mixture of modern and contemporary design and an unforgettable dining experience through different restaurant concept – this is how I describe Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese restaurant.
On February 22, LivingMarjorney was invited to join a group of bloggers to dine-in at one of the hippest and chic restaurants inside Resorts World Manila.
Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese opened last February 12, 2009 at the ground floor of Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City while its second branch is located at Resorts World Manila is now on its 2nd year promises a new concept in fusion restaurant dining.
The red velvet curtains, dark furniture and orange bricked walls which are pretty much European while a contemporary mix of designs with classic samurai and geisha graphics, backlit posters hanging on the ceiling with animal skin patterns, the wide mirrors giving a spacious illusion to the place.
Lead by Corporate Chef Christine Nicole Nicolas, Chef Benjamin Gonzales, Chef Florabel Co-Yatco and their team of internationally-trained chefs.
Don’t get intimidated with the Victorian wall, honeycomb windows and elegant fixtures, this restaurant offers well-priced menu.
French-Japanese items like tempura or gyoza souflaits, steaks and fine wines. Greek-Japanese items like Japanese kebabs and salads. Spanish-Japanese items like the japaella and Italian-Japanese items such as pastas and pizza. Traditional Japanese food such as kobe, teritaki, tempura, donburi, sushi and sashimi.
That night we had Fish Katsu, the Shrimp Katsu, the Ebi Katsu, the “Last Samurai” Chicken Wings and the Tonkatsu Torikatsu.
I recommend the Last Samurai Chicken Wings, tender with sweet and spicy flavor.
Mr. Kurosawa is ready to serve us with three new food items:
Katsu:
- Fish Katsu
- Shrimp Katsu
- Ebi Katsu with Wasabi Mango Mango
- Tonkatsu Torikatsu
TEA
- Red Anger (Strawberry Yakult Milk Tea)
- White Forest (Winter Melon Milk Tea)
- Rhapsody in Spring (Matcha Milk Tea)
Chicken
- Last Samurai Chicken Wings
Aside from the traditional Japanese food, Mr. Kurosawa offers Milk Teas – Red Angel also called Strawberry Yakult Milk Tea, White Forest or Winter Melon Milk Tea and Rhapsody in Spring or the Matcha Milk Tea.
Their milk teas are just fine but I was expecting a more stronger flavor of the tea. From the three(3) flavors, I like the Strawberry Yakult Milk Tea (Red Angel). It’s refreshing and I love the blend of strawberry and Yakult.

It was another journey to the gastronomic haven with the company of good people. The next time you visit Resorts World, drop by Mr. Kurosawa and enjoy a wide selection of Euro-Japanese dishes.
