I still remember the last time I went to Banawe, it was July of last year, my birthday! Together with my best friend, sister Tina and her children Eukie and Bianca our feet brought us somewhere in Banawe Quezon City to celebrate in a buffet-type restaurant.
Last week I went to Banawe to attend the grand opening of NaiCha store, a milk-tea that first opened at Royal Duty Free Mall, Subic.
The event was graced by NaiCha CEO Ms. Josephine Chua.
Just like NaiCha Congressional branch, Banawe has the same store design – the colors red, blue and yellow on their wall paints, tables and chairs.
There’s a strong WiFi connection, an electrical outlet and a desktop for customers to use for free.
When I was told to place my order, I don’t have to look at the menu I immediately told the crew my favorite Wintermelon Milk Tea.
That day, I discovered something new at NaiCha. Do you know a milk tea store selling 32oz? Yes, we were surprised when we saw the huge cup for the 32oz, they call it Bao Bao. Seriously, it’s like a pail without the handle!
No, I didn’t have it that day! I was planning to try it some other time since we were served with different flavors.
At NaiCha, you can choose your sugar level from 25% to 100% and an option for add-on such as pearls, puddings, almond and coffee jelly.
Here’s my all-time favorite, Wintermelon Milk Tea! NaiCha kept its promise of using only the high-quality ingredients to satisfy every customers.
Milk tea stores can be found almost everywhere. Even coffee shops and many restaurants created their own signature milk teas. I guess it’s because Filipinos easily fell in love and appreciate the flavor of this beverage. Aside from its sweet and refreshing treat, they are available at a reasonable price. A glass of milk tea now and then won’t hurt!

As of this writing I have on my table a 32oz Bao Bao Wintermelon milk tea, 16oz Coffee Jelly and Yakult Green Tea that boyfriend bought this afternoon at the newly opened store in Banawe!

I also love their Signature Taiwan NaiCha, Wintermelon Latte, Original Oolong NaiCha.
If you don’t feel like having one, you can try the Toothie Fruity Juices. They have Honey Water, Kiwi Juice, Lychee Juice, Lemon Juice, Kiwi Yakult, Lychee Yakult and Grapefruit Yakult.
NaiCha stores can be found at the following locations: N. Domingo, Congressional Avenue, St. Paul Pasig City, Centerpoint Emerald Ave Cor Julia Vargas Street, Fairview, Katipunan, UP-Ayala Techno Hub, Marquee Mall and stores at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
They recently opened three branches at Conception Dos Marikina, Stock Exchange Ortigas and SM Cyberzone Makati. Watch out for more stores opening particularly in Alabang, Baguio and Davao.
