BLUE! While others talked about the slope down going to the Puzzle Mansion, the blue colored rooftop caught my eyes.
Visiting The Puzzle Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay |
I got to visit a gallery and a bed-and-breakfast that they set in an afternoon garden affair. The Puzzle Mansion Bed and Breakfast has its special magnetic attraction, the biggest collection of rare and popular puzzles of a wide range of sizes, genres, sources, subject matter and art forms that sets apart from other bed-and-breakfast in Tagaytay.
Although I forgot to ask her why she chose color blue for the mansion, we talked about her jigsaw puzzle collection.
Over 300 jigsaw puzzles make up the collection in the Puzzle Room. It still grows, Ms. Lacuna continues to add new and bigger pieces to make the bid for the Guinness Book of Records recognition.
Located in Tagaytay City this place offers a relaxing respite from the busy life in the metro. Aside from the puzzle gallery, we saw the mansion’s accommodation . Each one has good furnishing and amenities. I noticed the high-ceiling and colorful topiaries that makes each room even more beautiful. On the other hand, I am still curious and interested with the Puzzle Mansion’s breakfast offerings.
There’s a room for a couple, a family or a big group of people. It can accommodate 400 guests. There’s a spa, an infinity pool, a 24-hour cafĂ© , cable television and a WiFi hot spot.
A fashion show from the designer Jessica Gallego, featuring new floral fashion collect for her brand, the Wear Charlie was the highlight of the event.
Puzzle hobbyist and Puzzle Mansion Owner Ms. Georgina Gil Lacuna is currently working on a 32,000-pieces puzzle, the largest-size jigsaw puzzle worldwide. Her closest competitor, also a woman, is based in Brazil, with 238 jigsaw puzzles in her collection.
