Great Northern Sale: See You at SM North EDSA!

 

Do you love to shop? How about shopping during mall sale? Here’s something you’ll definitely love, the GREAT NORTHERN SALE in SM North EDSA happening this week-end, July 13-14-15.  With great finds and major discounts everyone will get the most exclusive deals on all brands, stores and dining places!

I  love to shop even during mall sale where I get huge discounts from 10 to 50 and 70% discounts.

I bought a comforter at 50% off. There are bags, shoes, purse and wallets, clothes, accessories and more. Everything we need in one shopping avenue, SM North EDSA! 

For the past five years there’s one place I love to go during sale, it’s the HomeWorld Section. A 20% discount on furniture such as dining tables, sofas, computer table just to name a few is a big savings. Aside from that I earn extra points and get additional discounts when using my SM Advantage Card!

Last week, I passed by North EDSA and saw their banner for Great Northern Sale. Since we already have plans of buying new sets of shirts and pants, bf and I decided to shop on July 15 right after attending our Sunday service.

I already made a list of the things I need to buy but of course I have to check them before swiping my card. This time, I’ll look for a dining table, a side table, a pair of blouse and jeans. I also need to look for a new flat shoes.

For sure, there will be long queuing at the payment section so get ready for that!

Here are some of the tips and suggestions I would like to share based on my personal experience.

• I usually go early to avoid the crowd. It’s best to go on day 1 although you can still get the same discount on day 2 and 3. Items are sometimes run out of stock especially if they are in-demand.
• I directly go to sections (home, clothing and shoes) and look for the things I need. It’s a matter or prioritization.
• Avoiding too many stuff placed in the basket. 
• Avoid panic buying or becoming impulsive buyer. You just don’t know you have many things to buy from personal care to food. Follow your list.
• Make a list with the corresponding amount on the other side so you’ll not overspend.
• Shopping is fun but never forget to stop and rest. Hydrate your body or visit a burger house or order your favorite pasta.
• Shoe Mart sells eco bags, it would be best if you’ll bring one or two that you got from previous shopping. Let’s save the Earth, limit or if ever avoid using plastic bags.
• Don’t get over excited, don’t forget to bring your SM Advantage Card and the likes to earn points.
• I also suggest not bringing your children during mall sales because of the huge crowd and for you to enjoy the day.
