It was my first time to attend a press conference for the Cebu Pacific’s Backpacking adventure, the activity I’m familiar though since my fiancé has been part of Cebu Pac’s Backpacking Challenge year 1 and 2.
Team BA, Team Big Explorers, Team Bukidnon, Team KeLoFe and Team Titans
Five university teams “Team BA,” ‘Team Big Explorers,” “Team Bukidnon,” ”Team KeLoFe,” ”Team Titans.” Each team consists of three members were presented to us yesterday. These 15 students were chosen from 97 video entrees and from 60+ schools submitted during the contest search.
Listening to Ms. Candice of Cebu Pacific as she announced the awesome prizes, I can’t help but feel the excitement too! 12 Cebu Pacific tickets, 3 hotel accommodations, and 3 Canon S3 Cameras are at stake for this year’s Juan for Fun Backpacking Adventure! Not to mention the experience, fun and adventure of visiting the country’s top tourist destinations.
Each team was given P30,000 which they will use during the entire challenge, the primary objective is to accomplish the most numbers of fun activities in the above mentioned destinations with the least amount of money spent.
The adventure just started yesterday, August 29, 2012 and will end on September 2, 2012. They are going to Clark, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro, then back to Manila on Day 5.
