On February of this year, Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center celebrated the National Astronomy Week. They held a series of talk and symposium inside the planetarium. We also had the opportunity to explore other technology-based attractions at the discovery center and it was amazing!
Starting September, the NEW Nido Fortified Science Discover Center will launch 11 new and updated interactive galleries completely different from we have seen in the past five years.
The new facilities are designed not only to sustain the kid’s attention but to keep a high level of engagement at all times. Covering a wide range of topics such as the following:
- Matter and Gravity
- Physics and Chemistry
- Marine Life
- Transportation
- Space Science
Part of the exciting line-up of events and activities was the exclusive preview of in Discover the Science of Fun: A Sneak Peek to the new Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center held last Wednesday at Music Hall, Mall of Asia Complex. The Marsh Land and Crocodile Habitat Exhibit featuring the replica of Lolong, World Guinness Record holder for being the longest living crocodile in the world highlights the event.
Starting September kids are invited to rediscover the Science of Fun at with over 800 hands, eyes and senses busy with mechanical, visual exhibit.
The Science of Matters Gallery where kids can conduct simply physics and Chemistry experiments. They can see how electricity, force and motion are made. They will learn to compare atomic theories, understand the concept of gravity, differentiate the phases of matter and get to know the greatest scientists and their discoveries.
The Transport Nation is an exhibit where kids can see how the wheels of transportation have turned through the years.
NFSDC will definitely have kids and their families enjoy learning by seeing and understanding the wonders of science unfold thru the hands-on exhibits. Bring your kids to the NEW Nido Science Discovery Center.
