Negeri Sembilan, located in the west in the West of Peninsular Malaysia is identified with strong influence of the Minangkabau culture. It is then reflected with their traditional houses and modern architecture. In Seremban, a historical and cultural landmark called Minangkabau house is a popular tourist destination.
Upon the invitation of Tourism Malaysia and Zest Air and with the warm accommodation of Pelegong Homestay I was able to visit the historical site.
Visit Minangkabau house at Jalan Sungai Ujong in Seremban. It comprises of 3 main buildings which are the Teratak Perpatih, the Ampang Tinggi Palace and the Minangkabau House.
