Last week, I was invited by Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO), for a food tour in Pampanga. I was thinking if I should borrow fiancé's camera, wanting my own camera to give some rest.
On our way to Pampanga via comfortable private bus, Samsung Philippines announced our itinerary, the aim of this trip. The highlight of the event is to experience the high performance Samsung Galaxy Camera and enjoy the tour with a photo contest. We were allowed to choose our partner and given a new Samsung Galaxy Camera to try. Everybody’s Café, San Guillermo Parish, Andy’s farm, Chef Lilian’s kitchen, Ocampo Lansang Delicacies and the famous Pampanga’s sisig are included in our Pampanga trip.
Experiencing Samsung Galaxy Camera:
- With high performance photography featuring Android™ 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and the freedom of 3G + Wi-Fi connectivity to create the world’s first truly Connected Camera.
- What can you ask for! Limitless sharing and smartphone like activities; share high quality images to your favorite social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and the pre-installed Instagram app has never been easier. Simply shoot, edit, share and enjoy with the touch of a button.
- I enjoyed the GALAXY Camera’s 4.8”(121.2mm) HD Super Clear Touch Display.
- Not just for ordinary viewing! Users can quickly and easily make professional edits to their photos using the integrated ‘Photo Wizard’; a comprehensive set of 35 photo editing tools powered by the GALAXY Camera’s ultrafast quad-core processor.
- The ‘Paper Artist’ app ( popular on the GALAXY Note II) is so easy to use, definitely for quick and unique photo edits.
- Give more texture and shades to your photo, edit and decorate from assorted frames and layers. You can add notes directly onto the image.
- GALAXY Camera ships with Android™ 4.1 (Jelly Bean), giving users access to over 500,000 apps currently available on Google Play Store.
- The Android OS also provides full browsing support and the ability to customize your camera to suit your creative needs
- I also the camera’s voice control. Yes, this camera is a good listener too, executing your command such as “Shoot! Smile! Capture!”
My blogger friend was teasing me for not using Instagram, so that very moment I decided to create my account straight from the Galaxy Camera. Cool isn’t it! Then I started capturing photos and realized uploaded almost 50 lovely photos on Instagram!
I didn’t use the “filters” on Instagram just the Galaxy Camera’s 35 photo editing tools. Check out my photos below or visit them on Instagram, http://instagram.com/livingmarjorney

My SONY T200 digital camera captured significant moments in my life since 2009 and has been my blogging companion for more than two years now. It was actually one of the reasons I decided to start setting up my own blog - to have a place for all my pictures. I was happy with its functionality but I realized it also needs a back up, working almost 7days a week, charging the battery almost everyday even more than once a day during my out of town coverage and personal trips, eventually it will retire.
I cannot deny how I love my camera! One day boyfriend accidentally drop it and my initial reaction was to get angry. Recently, I noticed it slowly dies. I’m sad and afraid of losing my beloved T200 until I met the Samsung Galaxy Camera. Wow! just wow was all I could say! This gadget has two things that I’ve been wanting for – ANDROID and high-performance camera.
Our Pamapanga trip saved me from buying a new camera and an android phone when Jonel and I won the photo contest! Yay, we’re so excited to use our new Samsung Galaxy Camera this holiday season and most of all on our wedding day! Thank you Samsung!
Love the new Samsung Galaxy Camera? Well, no need to wait any longer. This powerful gadget will be available in the Philippines this December – a wonderful Christmas gift for yourself or your loved ones! Enjoy a camera with the functionality and freedom of the leading smartphones. SRP P23,990
