There are times we have to embrace change, to welcome a new chapter in life and to bravely accept challenges. Just like your favorite cup of coffee or tea, time will come you’ll want something new, perhaps add some flavor; because we search for a different coffee experience.
Few weeks ago, I received an invitation from Starbucks Coffee Philippines for the International Coffee and Food Tasting activity. In the invitation, the they wanted to know my food preference, either chicken or fish. Well, I got excited and remember the lunch meal I saw during my visit in Hong Kong about three weeks ago. I wonder if Starbucks will be offering the same in the Philippines.
When we arrived at the event, that’s when I realized it’s not lunch they will launch. The event was all about having a personal experience with your everyday hot drink, coffee. Starbucks invited Tapella restaurant, famous in serving Spanish cuisine.
Although it’s not a new experience for me since I’ve been pairing coffee with lunch or dinner and in our family, coffee has become a regular beverage.
We had several Starbucks coffee from Tribute Blend, Colombia to Espresso Shot. Moreover, the coffee company launch Starbucks® Asian Dolce Latte.
Did you know that you’ll enjoy your coffee if you follow this simple steps? First, smell the coffee. Then slowly slurp and allow it to reach the sides of your mouth.
Experience a spicy and full-bodied blend with berry and dark cherry notes on every cup of Starbucks Tribute Blend. This beverage was paired with Tapella’s appetizers.
We were served Chorizo spread on slice of baguette, topped with manchego cheese; Bruschetta on tomato salad with slice of baguette topped with goat cheese and herb. These appetizers goes well with Tribute blend, the flavors are balance.
While most of us are familiar with hot, creamy or clear soup, others would go for cold soup such as Gazpacho, a Spanish classic cold tomato soup. Tapella restaurant prepared cold tomato soup topped with vegetable and grilled mixed peppers towers of salad.
