I love Spanish Style Sardine, a little spicy and oily makes food so tasty and flavorful. Have you tried making sandwiches or prepared a meal using Spanish Style Sardine? I do! Sometimes I even bought them at online stores. I like it because a simple and plain “hot pandesal” turns to a savory sandwich with just a little Spanish sardine.
Few weeks ago, I attended the launch of two variants of Mega Creations Premium Sardines held at Diamond Hotel. They set up a kitchen for the celebrity Chef to prepare delightful meals using the two new Mega Creations sardines.
These were all served during the launch where guests got to savor three dishes using Mega Creations.
Featuring two new variants, the Mega Creations Premium Sardines in Natural Oil and its spicier counterpart, the Mega Creations Premium Sardines in Spanish Style.
Fresh from the oven, they served us the Moroccan Sardine and Sweet Potato Casserole. It was good! I like the crunchy sweet potato on top and the mouthwatering filling inside. The spinach leaves, red bell pepper and the sardine goes together perfectly, a little spicy - creating a well-balance flavor. Don’t worry it’s not salty.
More exciting dishes using Mega Creations Premium Sardines will be feature starting April 5 at 6:30 pm on The Lifestyle Network. The brand, Mega Creations and Chef Villalon will bring out delightful recipes with "Everyday Creations", it's a new cooking show that will teach us how to prepare savory dishes from pasta, pizzas and many more using Mega Creations Premium Sardines.
Here’s a photo opportunity with Chef Rosebud of Quick Fire and Chef Villalon
Mega Creations shared three exciting dishes that’s easy to prepare without compromising the flavor and still satisfying everyone’s palate. These were also served during the event. The Moroccan Sardine and Sweet Potato Casserole was my favorite among the three, the Asian Style Sardine Sub Sandwich was also good. Why don’t you try these at home?
