Rainbow Cupcake |
Who's not familiar with Julie's Bakeshop? I believe it's one of the largest bakeshop chain in the country today. Here in Manila, you'll find several Julies Bakeshop stores - along the street, nearby train stations, bus terminals and market areas.
Selling not only delicious but also affordable breads that many Filipino families love. Sometime ago, I met Ms. Julie, the humble owner of Julie's Bakeshop for the fight against hunger campaign of Julie's Bakeshop and World Food Programme. With that I personally supported the programme by including "Bayan Bread" in my weekly grocery list.
Rainbow Cupcake (P12/each) are topped with four tropical flavors - pineapple, strawberry, buko pandan and ube and sprinkled with colorful confetti sugar.
Rainbow Round Cake |
Four colors and flavors of Yummy Yoyos (P5/each). They are soft round sandwich puffs in orange, buko pandan, pineapple and strawberry variants, all with powdered sugar in between.

So, the next time you drop by Julie's Bakeshop try the new Julie's Summer Breads. I recommend the Rainbow Round Cake, pineapple fruit-filled breads and Emapanada.
