SM Supermall is something I also find interesting to write about. It is where I get our basic commodities. I consider it the most accessible market for me and my family.

The managers and staff are most often friendly and accommodating. I can attest to that specially during the time I was looking for supplies I needed for our wedding including photo frames which I needed for our wedding invitation. SM Makati staff were very helpful and they didn't know we're bloggers.

From one stop shop to lifestyle hub!

SM Supermalls houses restaurants, local and international clothing brands, home appliances, school supplies down to health and wellness centers and even doctors' offices.

What used to be a usual shopping place now turned into a huge lifestyle hub. Who has the biggest and strongest free WiFi connectivity in the market today? Traditionally, we found high speed internet connection in most hotels, big companies and airports.

Dayne and McCain: A Back to Back Concert at the SM Arena

We're fortunate to have a huge and sophisticated venue for local and international artistic performances. It can be configured to allow for boxing, fashion show and even ice skating show. I'm referring to the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the SMX convention center within the SM Mall of Asia Complex. 

SMX SM Lanang Primier, Davao

SM launched the use of greenbags or ecobags design contests with the theme "Art of Sustainability". SM supermalls gave away P25,000 plus an iPad3 to winning students. The participating school also received P25,000 that will go to the school's environmental projects. Read my blog post, here.

The mall is also busy putting up an educational venue that would meet the needs of today's students thus they built a world class planetarium and Science Discovery Center at several SM Supermalls (read here about Science Discover Center). 

SM Lanang Premier Davao

Every Fridays and Saturdays there's a fireworks display happening at the bay view. The Philippine International Pyromusical display is also one of the biggest event during the months of February and March. I even completed the entire season of the pyromusical last year. 

If you're a person who's into fashionable clothes surely you've passed by Uniqlo and Forever21 but I'm pretty sure you never missed one of SM's grand mall sale. 

I was also present when SM Ice Skating celebrated its 20th anniversary while several bowling centers had series of tournament and SM bowling national cup. 

Perfect Sight Clinic SM North EDSA

About a month ago, my husband suddenly felt something wrong in his left eye. He let it pass thinking it would subside until one of our relatives referred an eye specialist. 

I was surprised his clinic is at Perfect Sight at SM North EDSA, glad it's just near our place. Mall-goers who might also experience sudden problems such as my husband's can just visit the clinic. I took time to visit Perfect Sight and scheduled an appointment, husband has no reason not to see the doctor since we regularly passed by this mall.  

More than just a mall, PWDs are given convenient access and priority. SM cares and PWD's converted SM City Rosales lot into a productive farm (more stories, here)

Managers are not only the ones who spotted skilled and deserving employees, we as customers have seen well-deserving employees. Is it hard to just say "thank you" every time they helped us? 

SM has organized a nationwide job fair last May 1 in partnership with DOLE and PESO. Through SM Cares and SM Foundation, they are environmentally responsible. I personally witnessed the Earth Day activities and Eco-fair. The mall is not just a mall, SM is one with the community. Today, there's an ongoing  Cartoonfest perfect for kids' summer vacation. The newly opened Park Inn Hotel proves that SM continuously listens to its mall patrons, bringing affordable luxury to the Filipinos and uplifting ones shopping experience.

I believe SM Supermalls are more than just mall and "WE" are not just ordinary customers. We are part of the mall's stories and success. SM is one with the community.
