A Whole Day of Globe Rewards at Enchanted Kingdom

Last hooray to summer! We spent an enjoyable day at Enchanted Kingdom together with my sister Tina, nephew, Eukie and niece Bianca. The experience was made more enjoyable coz I don't have to shell out some cash by using the points I earned with Globe Rewards of Globe Telecom. How it works? Globe subscribers, allow me to take you to the magical world using your Globe rewards points!

Remember, Globe announced the new improved Globe Rewards? Read my previous blog post, here. With these rewards, you don't need to use your cash. Giving us more ways to enjoy our rewards Globe implemented a straightforward points-to-peso conversion (1 point = 1 peso). Similar to cash, it is now accepted as a form of payment in partner-merchants nationwide. 

The Globe Rewards team were present at Enchanted Kingdom last June 1. They set up booths where Globe subscribers can redeem rewards. At the entrance, they greeted guests with blue balloons. Kids run to grab one including Eukie and Bianca.     

Our day started riding the Grand Carousel then the UpUp and Away, dino soar's, Stone egg, Air Pterodactyl followed. 

By lunch time we're at the air-conditioned Amazon Grill restaurant. But you can also get food at  EK Tower Souvenirs and Snacks, using Globe Rewards Points. Kids had pasta and the famous Eldar purple drink while Tina and I had pork sisig and pork BBQ (around P150 each)

Immediately after lunch, the kids are excited for more rides. 

We passed by another Globe booth, where subscribers can redeem cold bottled water for only 5 points or P5. Bottled waters are usually sold at P20 and up, for 5 points that's a huge savings.

 Around 2pm, we stopped at EKstreme Tower Shop for a quick snack and souvenir items. 

I found a nice purple tote bag for only P300 or 300 points. Aside from shirts, bags and souvenir items, subscribers were able to redeem or purchase food, chocolate and beverages at the EKstreme.  

At Brooklyn area, we were surprised with the long queuing where subscribers redeem umbrellas for only 5 points. Wow, imagine a nice and durable umbrella for only P5. Some even redeem more than 5 umbrellas, I just got one. 

While the kids are enjoying the rides, I went to see what's happening at Portabello. Exclusive Globe shirts at 5points each. Available in two colors, pink and blue. I purchased five, one for hubby and the rest for me! 

Melona ice cream redeemed at 5points each. Tina even bought additional 10 pieces just before we left Enchanted Kingdom. 

Live performances and a brief presentation by Globe Rewards happened at the Bandstand around 5pm. The kids enjoyed the rides while I had a great time shopping using my Globe Rewards. I even run out of prepaid load, good thing there's u-load machine at Bandstand. 

How to Redeem your Globe Rewards?

To check your available points, Text  BAL to 4438 to check your points balance. P1/transaction.

By simply texting: BUY<space>MOBILE# OF Merchant<space>AMOUNT and send to 4438. The trader number is from the cashier as you proceed with your transaction.

You can even share points with family and friends to redeem bigger rewards by texting SHARE <space> 10-digit NUMBER of your friend <space> NUMBER of POINTS to 4438 for only P1 per transaction.
