Burger Bar at Greenbelt 2

There are good restaurants along Greenbelt in Ayala Center, Makati. There's casual dining, fast food and family restaurants. 

And for some romantic place to celebrate anniversaries of special occasions you can also visit fine dining restaurants and hotels. Although, some are not exactly affordable but you can always find a place that fits your budget.  

Few months ago, hubby and I visited Burger Bar at Greenbelt 2. It's a fast casual restaurant and located in a small yet nice place at the 2nd floor of namnam. Yes, not nomnom, which is my husbands' food blog.

 

 

While waiting for the pasta and burger, we started with Loaded Tex-Mex Ground Beef Nachos (P330). The tortilla chips are huge and crunchy loaded with ground beef, bell pepper, cubed tomatoes, red beans over shredded cheese and salsa.   

At Burger Bar, you'll and have an option for the different kinds of patty, the "beef bomb" (chuck & short rib) "the steak cut" (sirloin chuck) and "the big game" (brisket). 

J had "The Piggy" a double-patty steak cut with fresh toppings of greens, mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, onions, crunchy bacon strips and Burger Bar's special sauce on a sesame seed bun.

While hubby was busy munching on a well-done, moist and juicy steak cut burger patty, I was focused on a plate of tasty Creamy Shrimp & Tomato Alfredo Pasta (P265). 

I think I ate more than half of the pasta. It was not too oily; I like the way the noodle was cooked and the consistency of the sauce. It was good and highly recommended. 

The tex-mex nachos, 'the piggy" burger and the pasta were just enough for the two of us. Not to mention the yummy strawberry milkshake I have to finish, I don't think there's space for more but the onion rings which came last are irresistible. We just can't get enough!  

We ended walking along Greenbelt and grab a cup of coffee to relieve the fullness of our stomach. It was a wonderful dinner date with J of course enjoying good food.
