The Beautiful Camiguin Island | Katibawasan Falls

Let me take you back to our recent trip to Camiguin. 

In our itinerary, a short trip to Katibawasan Falls was included. It is one of the tourist attractions you should not miss when going to Camiguin.

Near the falls are "sari-sari" stores selling souvenir items and this crunchy delicacy called “kiping” spread with sweet syrup, I think it’s coco jam.

Katibawasan falls is located southeast of Mambajao, the capital of Camiguin.

What to do in Katibawasan Falls?

There are few tables so you can set up a meal (picnic), swim and enjoy the view. By the way, they ask for a minimal P30 entrance fee for its maintenance.

Possibilities are endless. When I wanted something, I imagine it. Sometimes it even shows in my dreams, after all it's a form of planning, the initial step of making it possible. I spent time taking photos with the nice backdrop of the Katibawasan falls and the rain forest. Suddenly, I was reminded of the great opportunities I've been receiving. How about you? How to Get to Katibawasan Falls?

Cebu Pacific now flies to Camiguin, four times a week, Mondays-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday. Visit their website for seat sales and other promotions, go to www.cebupacificair.com Call (02)7020-888 or check Cebu Pacific Air’s official Facebook and Twitter pages. Multicabs are readily available to bring you to your destination from Camiguin Airport.

Visitors usually included Katibawasan falls in their itinerary, being near the municipality there are motorcycle or a multicab that can bring you to the falls.
