Neutrogena Skin Re-treat with Kim Jones

As part of the brand’s new campaign and advocacy for beautifully healthy skin, Neutrogena launched a new beauty philosophy that features the well-loved Neutrogena® skin care range including the Deep Clean™ facial cleansers, the Ultra Sheer™ sun protection range and the Hydro Boost™ gel and water-based moisturizer.

Held at The Den in Mariott Hotel, the launch event was hosted by Filipino-British TV host and social media celebrity and Neutrogena's new ambassador Kim Jones.

“Many Filipino women believe in tiis ganda, making it acceptable for them to go through skin irritation and discomfort in the name of beauty,” Ella Reyes-David, Neutrogena® senior brand manager, said. “Our main goal is to spread the message that healthy is the new beauty.”

According to Reyes-David, Neutrogena®’s products “combine scientifically proven formulas with skin-friendly ingredients.” She added, “This combination allows Neutrogena® to effectively address skin problems in a healthy and pleasant way.”

At the event, we tested the products starting with the Ultra Sheer™ sun protection with the Sticky Sand Test. 

This lady applied Ultra Sheer on back of my hands and added sand on it. 

Wow! I like the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunblock. The sand was easily removed because the moisturizer was easily absorbs by the skin so you won't feel greasy and there's no sticky, irritating feeling. That's a pretty nice sunblock especially when you're at the beach unlike other brands, sand usually stick to your skin. 

I don't need to go back and forth to the beach just to wash away the sand that stick to my sweat, sun-block covered skin! Finally, there's an incredible way to prevent it from sticking to my skin. 

Next was the Absorb Test. They applied Neutrogena Hydro Boost™ gel and water-based moisturizer on the back of our hands. 

Last is the Makeup Test using Neutrogena Deep Clean™ facial cleanser. They applied waterproof mascara on both hands, removed it using Neutrogena Deep Cleanser and brand X on the right hand. 

Mascara was easily removed using sponge with Neutrogena Deep Cleanser. With brand X, mascara was extremely hard to get off. 

They also tested the Moisture Level of the skin using Moisturemeter. The result shows healthy, moisturized skin on back of the hand that uses Neutrogena.

Skin Care 101:

• Use sunblock with SPF 30 and above at least 30 minutes before sun exposure
• Apply moisturizer at least twice a day
• Hydrate and Proper diet

It was a relaxing afternoon, a beautiful experience with Neutrogena with the pretty and approachable brand ambassador Kim Jones.
