What I Like About The Samsung Galaxy S5!

On February 24, 2014, Samsung finally unveils the highly anticipated Galaxy S5 smartphone and Galaxy Gear 2 at the Samsung Unpacked 5 (2014).  Here in Manila, we watched Samsung Unpacked 5 live stream viewing in Makati Shangri La Hotel.

So, why I love the new smartphone? That night we were fortunate to get hands on of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 and I discovered its fantastic features that suits my daily lifestyle.

Camera:  Fast AF, HDR (Richtone), and Selective Focus features.

• The first cuts the auto-focus response time from the usual 1 second to only 0.3 second fast AF; the fastest ever for a smartphone to date.The precision and speed was made possible courtesy of the PDAF Module. This feature enables the smartphone to capture moving objects with ease like in sports photography.
• HDR, or High Dynamic Range makes photos more realistic

Water and dust resistant.

Ultra power saving mode for longer operating time.
- Don't worry if you ran out of battery, S5 will turn the display into black and white but it will not shut down. It will also turn off the apps except the SMS so you can still send messages to your loved one especially during critical moments.

Finger scanner

• All it takes is swipe your finger to make payments
• you can even access important documents such as a copy of passport in private mode. 

With S Health, it comes with a pedometer, exercise and calorie count. Galaxy S5  is the first smartphone that comes with a heart rate sensor. To check your heart rate, you just need to touch the sensor located at the back of the phone.

With Galaxy S5 simultaneously, you can use its WIFI and your Data Plan for fast downloading. 

Stylish and Fashionable! The  Samsung Galaxy S5 is available in metallic blue, white, charcoal black, & copper gold. I want the copper gold, very stylish and elegant followed by the classic charcoal black.

The Samsung GEAR 2 was also featured on Unpacked 5. I will write a separate post for this device.  

We still don't know yet the price of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 but Samsung revealed that it will be available in 150 countries including the Philippines on April 11, 2014, watch out for that! So, what do you think of the new Samsung Galaxy S5?
