How do you like you breakfast? Rice, bread, cereals, vegetable salad? Mine is simple, coffee and pandesal but recently, I found myself wanting rice meals every morning. I don't know if it has something to do with the abdominal surgery I had. Lol!
Back to post, Figaro Coffee Company whips up Breakfast Sliders especially created for people on-the-go since it's very convenient yet tasty and filling. Let's see what I got!
Breakfast Sliders are available in four variants - Bacon and Egg Slider, Zucchini Slider, Egg and Mushroom Slider and Tapa Slider. I know you already in mind what you want to try on your next visit.
They were all delicious but my favorites are #1 Bacon and Egg Slider. It has of course generous serving of juicy bacon and egg, lettuce, mustard sauce and cheese.
#2 favorite was the Zucchini Slider. It's an all-veggie sandwich with peppers, zucchini, grilled eggplant slices, tomatoes, lettuce and a slice of cheese. Surprisingly, it's very tasty I love the grilled eggplant slices I never thought it would be good in a slider.
#3 goes to Tapa Slider. Move your fried rice and try the new Figaro Tapa Slider you will still enjoy your favorite tapa with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Tapa was tender and juicy as well.
#4 Egg and Mushroom Slider. Scrambled eggs will always be part of our morning meals so Figaro created scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and lettuce slider.
Moreover, we can enjoy this Breakfast Sliders for only P139. Choose two from the four sliders, it also comes with a cup of Figaro brewed coffee and chips.
Figaro Rice Meals
The answer to my present cravings, rice meals! I'm glad Figaro also brings us the all-time favorite rice meals all day any day. I've been a regular customer of Figaro, sometimes I wish their lunch sets like the spicy curry would be available for dinner. Anyhow, I found something to look forward to my next dining. For only P199, we get savory rice meals such as Classic Asado, Pork Tenderloin in Asian Pesto Sauce, Breaded Fish with Plum Sauce and Traditional Adobo.Classic Asado |
Traditional Adobo |
Not my usual adobo that's heavy with thick sauce but I like their version, not too sweet, not too sour.
Pork Tenderloin in Asian Pesto Sauce |
Here's the verdict! My favorite were the Pork Tenderloin in Asian Pesto Sauce and Classic Asado. I am also delighted to see my husband liking the former, he's not a fan of pesto sauce. Meat is tender and juicy, I love the combination of pesto sauce, toasted garlic and salsa (cucumber and tomato). Serving size is just enough to please one's palate.
