Do we have a choice? Yes, of course. We usually stay few hours more in a coffee shop to pass the rush hour. We take our time, enjoy dinner spending quality time than joining the huge commuters of MRT, buses and cabs. Although, our usual route from Ayala is taking the MRT going North EDSA. However, at Trinoma, sometimes there's still a long line in taxi bays so what we do? We open GrabTaxi app and book a cab!
GrabTaxi App |
I've been using GrabTaxi app for several months now. The only problem I encountered was difficulty booking from our place in SFDM. Overall, requesting a cab from Trinoma or SM North was such a breeze. Booking is so easy, all you have to do is download GrabTaxi app (via Play Store is you're using Android Phone, App Store (iOS), Windows Phone), register with your name and contact number. I enjoyed using GrabTaxi especially last December when they offered zero (0) booking fee for Globe subscribers and P50 for non-Globe.
Fast forward, May 2014. There's a more elegant way of commuting aside from GrabTaxi, it's called GrabCar.
Last month, GrabCar was launched at Vyne in Bonifacio Global City. To experience how it operates, husband and I booked a car all the way BGC from our home in QC. We got a GrabCar Nissan Patrol that arrived in front of our gate. The simulated cost was P474 or US$10.

The same app is use for GrabCar, simply select GrabCar option on the GrabTaxi app. What's the difference? We rode a Nissan Patrol with friendly and courteous driver, there were bottled water, car charger for your gadgets. I was at peace that I can even work on my laptop inside the car.So have you tried GrabCar? Share your experience!
