With the Dolby Digital PLUS Surround Sound subscribers can enjoy the cinematic audio experience of their favorite movies and feel the intensity of all the sound effects.
So, what difference the PLUS makes in Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound? An example of this technology would be a home theater made up of five speakers, a sub woofer and a television set. However, this technology has been available on Cignal TV's HD channels for quite some time now. With the new Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound technology allows users to hear superb digital audio whether they are watching on their TV or their smartphone or tablets. This technology is said to be available in other countries namely Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Middle East and now the Philippines because of Cignal TV.
The press launch was graced by Vice President and Head of Marketing of Cignal TV Inc. Guido Zaballero, Regional Director, South East-Asia, Dolby Laboratories Leong-Yan Yoong, and Head-Broadcast, South East-Asia, Dolby Laboratories, Panna Dey.
To personally experience Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound right after the presscon, we were able to watch the Transformers: Age of Extinction Movie in the Dolby Atmos Theater Cinema 8 of Promenade.
We are planning to reactivate our subscription to Cignal TV to experience the Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound at the convenience of our home. I think it would complement with our Samsung Home Theater as well.
