Max's Pinoy-Style Fried Chicken Plus New Chicken Dips

I've been waiting Max's Restaurant to offer chicken dips for their Sarap To The Bones Fried Chicken. Although I like it as it is, well-seasoned and indeed sarap to the bones, others still prefer signature Max's fried chicken with ketchup or chili sauce. So, I was delighted when they added three more yummy chicken dips to their menu?

About two days before my birthday, we were invited by Max's Restaurant to try the new chicken dips. Little did I know it would be a special day for me, lol! First, everyone greeted me a happy birthday. Second, a celebrity/athlete of Gilas Pilipinas Mark "Pinoy Sakuragi" Pingris arrived to visit us, well just to greet me "Happy Birthday", just joking!

Gilas Pilipinas was able to bring home the Bronze Medal from the recently concluded FIBA Asia Cup after they beat opponent China by 1 point with a 3-point free throw series ending with 80-79 tally in favor of the Philippines. Congratulations! We're very proud of our team including Max's restaurant.

Max’s Restaurant as the official restaurant of Team Gilas Pilipinas, launched a nationwide campaign to help support Gilas Pilipinas as they gear up for the most prestigious international basketball competition, the 2014 FIBA World Basketball Cup to be held in Spain this August, this will be a first in 35 years for our Filipino basketball athletes.

The recent promo included in the Max’s Gilas Take-out Treat highlights Max’s Chicken and a free limited edition Gilas eco bag which run only until July 31, 2014.

Our favorite fried chicken arrived in the table with three nice dips in a cute spoon-like porcelain.

At first taste, I knew that the Pinoy Sarsa would be my personal favorite, surprisingly followed by Chili sauce even if I'm not a fan of anything spicy. The good about it is that, it wasn't that too spicy that even my younger brother like it. The Max's Gravy was okay, it has a rich, buttery flavor I always look in a gravy. Not too salty nor too spicy.
