Short Courses at Electron College of Technical Education

Few years ago, a friend needed some suggestions where to enroll for short courses. During that time, vocational leading to hotel and restaurant services (HRS) and nursing aid were on top of my mind. So, I helped her look for a training center which offers low and flexible tuition fees. I'm glad she finished the short course however due to financial constraints, she did not pursue taking the examination needed to be certified.

Graduating from college, I never had any idea how vocational courses and training centers operates. So, I was delighted when I got the opportunity to visit one somewhere in Novaliches.

I survived college with the help of full-scholarship from the Philippine Army Finance Center Integrated Cooperative. Nowadays, I understand that sending our kids to college for a four-year degree is our top priority. The cost of education is rising so I'm glad there are vocational schools such as Electron College of Technical Education that aims to provide rigid training on short courses with minimal expenses on the part of the students.

Electron Technical Vocational Training Center - Computer Lab

Electron College of Technical Education was established in 2002, formerly known as Electron Technical Vocational Training Center. It has built a credible reputation as one of the leading technical vocational schools in the country offering variety of courses that are in-demand here and abroad. Four (4) categories are maintained in the school programs: Semestral, Short Courses, Tutorial and Live in/Live Out Seminars that are based on modular and hands- on training. • Gas / diesel Mechanics (Engine Mechanical Overhauling / Transmission & Electrical Wiring & Lightning System)
• Industrial Electricity: (Motor Rewinding , Controls & Contactors)
• Motorcycle Mechanics: (Engine Overhauling, Body, Wiring and Flaring, Tune up, Carburetor, Fuel system, Exhaust, Final Drive )
• Practical Electricity: (Electrical Layout, Building Wiring and House Installation, Lighting fixtures & Grounding )
• Ref. And Aircon Technician: (Install, Service ,Maintain, Troubleshoot ,Mechanical & Wiring, Site Survey, Recover / recycle Freon)
• Welding-SMAW: (Weld Alloy Steel Plates & Sheets ) Special Course

They also have 10 Days Short Courses such as ADOBE Photoshop and Bartending. Advanced courses and 5 months courses like Bartending NCII, Massage Therapy, Advanced Autocad NCII just to name a few.

Electron College of Technical Education was founded by CEO, Dr. Dominador Solis, PhD who also designed the course in Electronics. Although they run on a "first come, first serve" basis, it's good to know there's no age required for applicants. Moreover, you would be delighted with their very low tuition fee rates (P4, 370 for short term courses) and flexible mode of payments. The courses they offered are all TESDA based and TESDA registered.
