COOK Magazine 4th Holiday Bash |
"Frozen: Winter is Coming" was COOK Magazine's 4th Holiday Bash theme party. The invitation says "come in your most cool attire" I wanted to, in fact, I told mom to bring out my winter jackets but she forgot to so I went at F1 Hotel Manila wearing Uniqlo black cardigan.
Cook Magazine Holiday Bash started four years ago and now on its 4th year of thanksgiving to all who supported the magazine all these years. On its 15th year of publication, COOK has a lot more reason to celebrate especially when they open the Kitchen Studio. I haven't seen the kitchen yet but I felt excited when my friends in the media started to talk about it. Remember, I love to COOK, the kitchen is one of my favorite spots at home.
Back to the Christmas Party / Holiday Bash, we were delighted with the overflowing food, dessert and drinks. Figaro and Angel's Pizza sampled us with my favorite Cheesy Burger Pizza and grabbed a cup of freshly brewed Figaro coffee. Next was my favorite yogurt, Pinkberry and they served us my recent love, Pinkberry Salted Caramel. Other food sponsors and caterings including Flavors on Fire, Genting Star Tourism Academy, our friends from Meat & Livestock Australia, Chewix Catering, Sweetielicious Homemade Goodies, Aging's Food Delight, Goldilocks, Baskin Robbins, Del Monte, Companero, San Miguel Corporation, San Miguel Pure Foods, Aquabest and Coca-Cola.
The
event was hosted by Marou Pahati Sarne of DWIZ and Marlon Aldenese, Advertising
Sales Manager of COOK Magazine. The Holiday Bash was also a chance to catch up with media and blogger friends, meet new people as well. COOK also awarded plaques to their advertisers, sponsors and columnists, and
photographers for their loyal and continued support for the magazine. Capping the night were several raffle prizes, some fun games and surprises. I really had a great night at #cookmagazine #HolidayBash. It was a delight to sing again in public, after sharing our dance video for #WeChatPaMore. I think, I'm getting used to it, lol!
Marlon started to draw the names of contestants for the sing-a-long and I was one of the 'singers', lol, contestants. I think it was my first time to sing (alone) in front of a huge crowd but it was fun because everyone was trying to help me with the lyrics since I'm not familiar with the song, lol! Anyhow, I really enjoy the evening. I think all of us who sang were given GCs. Yay! The grand prizes were a refrigerator from Whirlpool, a top of the line Technogas stove from Italy, a multi functional vegetable food cutter by Berghoff Philippines, and a Bosch Kitchen Machine by Hafele.
I love the Snowman dome ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. They were very generous and gave
me another slice. :)
