Super8 FunFest

It was about two years ago the last time I went to Super8 Grocery Warehouse near our condo in Guadalupe, Makati. Although not frequent, I also shop there for its unbelievably low prices. More than me, it used to be my grandma who regularly visit the warehouse for sari-sari supplies at same branch before taking a bus going home in Sta Maria Bulacan. She used to work at FBG Hospital then, which is just a jeepney ride to the supermarket.

Last week, Super8 Grocery held its annual FunFest at the World Trade Center. The first two days were reserved for Super8 Reward cardholders. The gates were opened to the general public on the third day, mostly sari-sari store owners, retailers, wholesalers, and other MSME entrepreneurs.

The experience of getting special discounts majority of the walk-ins likewise signed up to become members. Aside from discounts. there were exciting games, product sampling activities, Super8 giveaways, and raffles that included the latest gadgets and three Toyota Wigos. One of the highlights of the Super8 FunFest is the guest appearances of celebrities Richard Yap, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, and Alex Gonzaga.

This year's FunFest was a big success seeing the huge crowd, a lot hoarding to stock up on their sari-sari store supplies. Everyone was having a great time shopping, I did!
