I've never been to Pio's Kitchen so when I received the invitation from my sister who's enjoying Bohol that time, I did not think twice. What excite me most is getting first dibs with brand that I've been using over the years and learn new recipe using Swift Corned Beef.
Swift Premium Corned Beef
I arrived at Pio's Kitchen just in time. There were familiar faces, most of them I met at recent events I attended for my blog, MrsCloverLeaf. The restaurant was homey and cozy. It was nice to see old wood made into stylish tables. I was inspired that even old furniture can be turned into a work of art. But most of all, I felt excited with the dishes they will be serving us.
Aside from the charming place with the stylish furniture, we were welcomed with specially-prepared Pulled Corned Beef-made delicious by the cured and slightly-salted goodness of Swift Premium Corned beef. Equally noteworthy is the fact that aside from it is easily open can, Swift Premium corned beef (comes with 150 grams and 210 grams can) is really tasty and delicious.

Paella Negra
Paella Negra with seafood and saffron Aoili was such a delight to see. It was a big and colorful Paella topped with seafood. Shrimps and sliced squid. I enjoyed this paella with Calamansi juice. Aside from Paella, we had rich and flavorful Swift Pulled Corned Beef Jicama Salsa with Wheat Ata Chips.

I was fortunate to meet Abby Sy, hand-letterer, Swift Premium ambassador and firm believer in the Art of Taking time. She shared to us some techniques on hand lettering. I remembered the fun side of my high school and college life where I always make sure that my hand writing was always good but I guess I was not born into it. That is why, I find this event unique. I was very glad that I was able to learn some of this through Ms.Abby so that I can practice and teach hand lettering with my kids as well.
My sister Marj of Woman In Digital said she's excited to try the new Swift Premium Corned Beef. One day, I saw his husband Jonel posted a photo of his baon lunch, classic sauteed Swift Corned beef with potatoes. With Swift's versatility, I'm pretty sure there are lots of delicious, easy-to-prepare recipes busy moms and wives can try.
