I was in secondary school the last time I saw Cherry Foodarama along Shaw boulevard. It was also holiday season when we dropped by to visit a friend working as a promodiser back then.

After months of renovation, Cherry Congressional finally opens and was celebrated with promos and discounts. Woman In Digital grabbed the opportunity to shop on its opening day. Cherry Foodarama now Cherry is under SM Markets so our SM Advantage, Prestige and BDO Reward cards are accepted and entitled to avail of the discounts and Buy1Take1.
Passing by each aisle, I felt like grocery shopping in other SM Markets. The layout almost the same and the staff uniforms very familiar. Anyway, I love the huge selection of vegetables and fruits. Spotted were green, leafy, organic produce.

I wanted to try SM Market's ice cream for only P150 which comes in different variants but we have other engagements in the afternoon so maybe next on my supermarket visit. Cherry has complete sections from poultry, seafood, frozen section, canned goods and other dry goods to furniture and apparel.

I was looking for Cakes and Bakes which was available in the old Cherry Foodarama. I heard they sell yummy desserts. Unfortunately, I did not saw it at the Congressional branch.
Cherry is another one stop, shop along Congressional. There are imported products as well. Pricing is almost the same with other SM Hypermarkets. At the moment until November 2015, the supermarket offers value packs and free items with a minimum purchase. Don't forget to bring your SM Advantage Card and SM Greenbag when shopping.
