Oceania and Splash Park
While others were having their body massages, some went to see the wildlife sanctuary. Myrns and I opted to stay at the Oceania to dipped our sexy bodies into the warm pool. The weather was hot and sticky, you would really love to take a cold shower.
Foreign tourists love sunbathing. As for me, I love lounging under the shade of palm trees. For refreshment and snacks, Sangley Point is just a few steps from the pool next to Splash Park. Changing rooms are easily accessible with several cubicles for shower and toilet. That would not be a problem during peak season.

Island Spa
When going on a vacation, I always look forward to a good body massage. The ladies were all excited of the spa services offered to all of us that afternoon courtesy of Island Spa, Island Cove's in-house spa. But if body massage is not your thing, you might probably want to try other spa services like manicure/pedicure or foot spa. Or perhaps go to the fit club and workout. How about immersing your tired body in a bathtub filled with warm milk? Island Spa's milk bath with flower petals sounds interesting.
I had the traditional hilot isla. The massage started with a foot wash using natural products. The hilot isla massage lasted an hour. This type of massage provides relaxation and recommended for tired body. The massage includes legs stretching. I had the treatment in a solo room. They also have couple's room as well. You will definitely enjoy the massage. The aromatherapy music and the scent of the oil will make you fall asleep.

The photo with three beds is a separate room for facial treatments. There's also a corner for foot wash and quick massage. |
After treatment, I had a good ginger tea. I'm glad this spa serves healthy ginger tea while others uses commercially available tea.
Sangley Point
Food is always part of every travel stories. The lunch at fishing village was fantastic the same with the snacks served at Sangley Point. We had Angus burger with veggie and cheese, tasty pasta arrabiata, fish with yummy, crunchy chips served with two types of dips, three-cheese pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. Each serving could be shared by two to three person. When in Sangley Point, don't forget to try their homemade sauces especially the Sangley sauce, a bit sweet with a kick of spiciness best for meat dishes.

Did I miss something? Yes, it's the Island Cove Wildlife Sanctuary right? Also the riding horse drawn carriage. A separate story will be posted here on the blog soon after my re-visiting Island Cove this weekend. And yes, I'm coming back very soon, there's something about this Cavite resort that draws me near.
