In my 30+ years of existence, never did I colored my hair because I'm scared of hair coloring side effects. But I did countless hair straightening. It started when I was eighteen years old and earning. I had it once to twice a year. Besides, there's only one salon who does my hair straightening. When I got married, I stopped because my husband worries about its side effects. I never wanted my curly, wavy hair until I follow my hubby's advise. While missing the old shiny, straight hair I started to love it and learned how to do a couple of hair styles. Later last year, I decided to cut it short which I felt even more beautiful, lol.

This year though, I was thinking of coloring my hair. Like before, I consulted hubby and he said it's okay as long as I want it. No idea what L'oreal permanent hair color to choose, so I asked some of my friends. I almost forgot about that idea until I received an invitation from Nuat Thai Manggahan Pasig branch to try their massage treatments. It was re-scheduled a couple of times because we seldom go Pasig area. But we find the owner, Leslie a nice person so we took time and finally visit her spa.

Aside from Nuat Thai Spa, Lesley owns Nails and Angels Salon and Boutique which is very accessible from Nuat Thai Spa. Her invitation to try hair treatment and hair coloring services was hard to resist. But first, I have to see the products they will be using. There were three, she mentioned organic hair color treatment and L'Oreal. I cannot decide yet so we just proceeded with the original plan - body scrub + body massage. Hubby had the herbal balls treatment with Swedish massage. For the first time, I had the hot stone massage. Full review of this couple massage treatments will be posted on #SeatsForTwo.

So this is me after the massage. I skipped the head massage to avoid getting the massage oil onto my hair. Hair coloring started with shampooing. Then the beautician carefully applied L'Oreal hair color Ash Blonde starting from the mid lengths and eds then to the roots. Hair color application lasted more than an hour. I was able to draft a blog post while waiting. There was a slight discomfort when the dye touches the scalp. Ouch! Of course, it's normal. But I like it when she massages my hair with the Keratin treatment.

Gorgeous looking hair or makeup need not be expensive. In fact, there are small and newly opened spas and salons with talented and hardworking people offering great services.
