CHANDELIER was the first thing I bought for our house three years ago. While hubby was thinking about the air conditioning system and other furniture, I was making rounds at the home section of the nearest dept store scouting for the perfect lighting fixture. Elegant and eye-catchy chandelier in different shapes are too tempting but expensive. I was looking for something old-fashioned and retro. At the end I settled for simple chandelier with three bulbs which provided light and warm inside my home.

I guess wives simply loves decorating, re-arranging and doing home makeovers. At home, I re-arrange three times a year - Christmas, summer time and rainy season. Two weeks before I attended an intimate launch of ORBIK light experts I visited hardware store and bought another LED light for my kitchen. It's thin and usually placed underneath hanging cabinets. You often see these on modern restaurants. I really wanted to add more light and life in my kitchen. There's only a small window and not enough sunlight coming in. I believe every home requires different types of light depending on its space and design. I have a small kitchen so I wanted it airy and bright. I got to visit houses with warm and dim lights. There's also house with bright light especially at night. I like this type of home interior.

Orbik showed us different types of LED bulbs and its purposes. I like that Orbik bulbs have both warm white (yellowish feature) and daylight (crisp white color) options. Because lighting always plays an important aspect in any interior space it is necessary to understand what type of bulbs we should invest on. Lighting bulbs are not cheap by the way, they are expensive. I'm glad Orbik lighting bulbs are affordable and of good quality.

Mr. Onglao also told us that in selecting a bulb for your home or light fixture, it’s always important to take into consideration how big and the function of the space, this is to ensure that you buy a bulb that has a wattage fit to its function. I also learned to get the right amount of illumination/light specific for its function, we must look at the lumens, not the wattage.
