Converse Chucks Auctioned for the Benefit of HIV/AIDS Positive Action Foundation

Miss France, Iris Mittenaere is our new Miss Universe. But even if Maxine Medina did win the crown, I am still proud of her. Maxine made it to top 6 and that's something we should be proud of. Prior to the coronation night, the candidates visited tourist destinations in the Philippines and participated in various activities including a customizing a Converse Chucks for charity. At least 19 candidates from the 2016 Miss Universe competition spent time and enjoyed DYI Converse sneakers to be auctioned for the Positive Action Foundation. 

A foundation supported by the Ms Universe organization, Positive Action Foundation is devoted into helping individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families particularly those who are displaced from their employment due to HIV phenomenon.

Bidders may submit their bids, names and contact details thru the information officer in the mall exhibit of the shoes or thru a private message at the Converse Facebook page. Bid starts at $50 USD.

The Miss Universe Personalized Chucks Exhibit in Manila

I was invited to see the items for auctioned at the Converse headquarters few days before the Miss Universe Grand Coronation Night. It was a fun event as we got to play Miss Universe wearing our crowns and sash. Thank you Voyager, Freenet for my crown. My fellow bloggers love it as well but I don't want to share the crown, lol! I super love it and I intend to keep it. Sorry guys. 😆
