Cake remains to be one of my favorite dessert. There are days I would crave for a specific flavor like brazo de mercedez or ube cake. I believe it's okay to indulge once in a while, so every time I would feel like eating cake I run to the nearest Goldilocks.

The country's leading bakeshop, Goldilocks held its annual Intercollegiate Cake Decorating Challenge. ICDC is renowned for being the only cake decorating competition in the country wherein students from different regions all over the country are participants.

Nearly one hundred entries were pre-judged to find the top ten qualifying teams for 2017.

Here are the highlights of ICDC Fusion 2017.
The exciting twist this year was the integration of an overarching theme, which is the fusion of the arts. This means that the competing teams will have to integrate the arts of fashions, sculpture, and painting into their cake creations.
Panel of judges includes Chef Penk Ching, noted pastry chef and Chef Heny Sison.
Winners of Goldilocks ICDC
St. Anne College of Lucena was awarded overall champion. They won the best travel cake category and festival cake category.
Western Institute of Technology - Iloilo received the best wedding cake. Congratulations to all the winners.
Congratulations to all the students and to this year's winner of ICDC 2017. Kudos Goldilocks for inspiring many students, believing in their skills and talents.
