Condo-living is the lifestyle trend to many young professionals. We've tried during our first year of marriage and I must say living in a condominium is more accessible to almost everything, convenient and practical. The growth of real-estate is unstoppable with high-rise buildings offering office and residential spaces now and for future needs.
Victoria de Manila 2 developed by New San Jose Builders recently held its ceremonial topping-off last April 27, 2017. The ceremony happened at the VDM 2 site located at Taft Avenue cor. Gen Malvar St. in Manila. This milestone symbolizes the celebration of constructing the highest part of a building’s architecture which means that the topmost part is done and is on its way to completion.

According to Wikipedia, topping off in building construction is a builders' rite traditionally held when the last beam (or its equivalent) is placed atop a structure during its construction.

It was my first time attending a topping-off ceremony. Funny that I went there in 2-inches red high heels by H&M and spaghetti strap butterfly printed blouse and Uniqlo cotton jeans in white because I have another engagement that afternoon. Anyway, it was a one-of-a-kind experience, taking a steel elevator which is being used during the construction. We went all the way to 47th floor where the ceremonial topping-off happened. It was a bit scary but we're delighted with an amazing view on top overlooking Manila and Manila Bay.
Congratulations New San Jose Builders and Victoria de Manila. I'm excited to the completion and grand launch of this new condominium.
Impressive view!!!
