200 Electrolux Washing Machines Donated to Communities

Four years ago, I had an amazing experience visiting the community in Gawad Kalinga Trese Blue Eagle Village in Payatas. Together with the Electrolux team, we met empowered women making quilts out of the pre-loved clothes you've donated.

The leading home appliances brand, Electrolux continues to empowered women, lighten up their loads with its modern home appliances such as washing machines.

A few weeks before I flew to Australia, Electrolux Philippines hosted an intimate engagement to witness the partnership between Electrolux Ph, Gawad Kalinga, and GMA Kapuso Network.

Electrolux "Love You Loads" Program

Electrolux Philippines together with its supply chain partner CEVA Philippines, has donated 200 washing machines to mothers, communities and organizations in the Philippines.

The “Love You Loads” program was designed to help lighten the loads of Filipinos through modern appliances. The washing machines will go towards Gawad Kalinga’s and GMA Foundation’s beneficiaries and programs.

During the turnover ceremony held at the Electrolux office, Electrolux Philippines Country Marketing Manager Andrea Soto-Pionilla shared, “May is the time where we recognize and share our appreciation for mothers and all the hard work that they do. Electrolux wants to express our support for moms and families all over the country.”

GMA Kapuso Foundation’s partner organizations will also received washing machines to serve the underprivileged.
