Shopping in Australia: UGG Boots Review

I've been thinking of writing a quick review of the first thing I bought in Australia. Can you guess what it is? It's a UGG boots, pronounced as ugh!

I told myself I'll get a new pair of shoes from Australia and we passed by several shops selling best winter shoes in Sydney. I was already thinking if I should get one since I did not have an extra shoes with me. I was asking myself if I needed one or just tempted to splurge.

After an evening Free Walking Tour in Sydney, on our way back to the Airbnb in Aygyle near The Rocks, we passed by UGG shop along George Street.

Aside from Australian-made boots, UGG offers men's and women's apparel, stylish pieces that are in for the season. The scarfs are sold at AU$200 but there are items are on sale so it gave me more reason to get a pair of UGG Boots.

I tried several items on display including the women's cold weather boots as well as the UGG slippers. Some things to consider in buying women's shoes are the style and comfort. I always go for casual and pieces that can easily mix and match, earth tones, plains with stud.

I wore a pair of Skechers Go Walk but my feet cannot take the cold, winter days in Australia.

UGG slippers are pretty and great for indoor or as bedroom slippers. There are stylish and perfect to wear during summer too. I chose the UGG classic mini boots in brown, also available in black. Initially, I thought it looks chunky but realized it's very nice and stylish.

Authentic UGG classic mini boot is made with sheepskin-lined interior that gives comfort and warmth for the cooler season. It has water-resistant coating and durable Treadlite sole. The friendly saleslady gave tips on how to clean and care your UGG Boots. Just use a clean, damp cloth to wash away dirt and stains.

Since then I wore my new UGG classic boots touring around Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne and I never complain of achy feet and legs. It's so comfy!

The original price of UGG Classic Mini Boots is AU$199 or Php8,400+ but it was on sale when I bought it for only AU$79 or Php3,340, not bad isn't it? I was able to wear it for the next ten days of our Australian tour. I plan to bring it on our next travel sometime in October.

I wore a floral print scarf over the black knitted blouse, winter jacket from a thrift shop I bought ten years ago (when I was still preparing for my travel in the US). It was good thing we bought this Heattech leggings from Uniqlo Philippines.
