SWOSH: Door-to-Door Dry-Clean & Laundry Pick-up And Delivery App

We complain about being "too busy" because we do not know how to delegate or outsource our work to others. We wanted to do it all by ourselves and yet we feel exhausted. Spend time with what truly matters most. Today, with just a tap of a finger we can have someone do the grocery or book a laundry service while we watch a movie with our family or friends.

I learned about Swosh Laundry App from a friend. He told me about how hassle-free and way of booking a laundry service using a mobile app. Swosh App offers laundry pick-up and delivery in different locations in the metro. It is a mobile app which you can download on both Google Play and App Store.

I tried booking for a regular laundry service earlier this week before I left for another staycation. The app lets me choose the pick-up and delivery dates and time. Being a morning person, I'm happy that they are available as early as 6am before we left the house. The friendly rider with a huge laundry bag arrived in time to pick-up my dirty linens.

Swosh Laundry App: How it Works?

To use the Swosh app is easy as 1-2-3. Once you've downloaded the app, create an account where you have to enter your address and contact details.



Second, select a schedule and choose the type of laundry service you need. I availed of the The Swosh! Pack (Wash/Dry/Fold) for only P150. It offers laundry of regular clothes to maximum of 8kg per bag. 4kg for comforters, blankets or towels. Exceeding weight per bag will be charge for another load.

Regular Laundry Pick-up starts at 6am until 12am everyday. You can fill the laundry bag with any regular items. Swosh Laundry won't accept the following items though: Quilt Covers, Underwear/Undergarments/ Delicates such as Chiffon, Moire, Ninon, Lace, Silk, Tussar Silk, and Satin. These are delicate fabrics and best washed by hands. Rugs / carpets, wet items, bags and curtains with metal rings are not allowed to the laundry services.

The cost will depend on the type of service you need, from dry-clean, regular washing or shoe cleaning. You are paying for the full service that is pick-up, wash and delivery. You can pay in cash. Credit card payments will be available soon.

Pepare the clothes or linen for pick-up the next day. You can also book in advance. The items I sent are considered one load or equivalent to less than 4 kilograms. You have the option to separate whites from coloured clothes para maiwasan ang "hawa".

There's a Php60 pick-up and delivery fee and Php40 concierge fee. Status of your booking can be accessed on the Swosh mobile app.

We left for a staycation at the Holiday Inn Express, watched "Ang Huling El Bimbo" at Resorts World Manila. When we got home, my clean and fresh comforter and bed-sheets are waiting in my doorstep. Swosh is something worth-trying. Even if we have our washing machine at home, some linens won't fit in it so I will definitely book Swosh Laundry App for laundry and dry-clean.
